Release Stages: Alpha, Beta, and GA

AgentWP follows a structured release cycle to ensure the highest quality and stability of our AI assistant. This cycle consists of three main stages: Alpha, Beta, and General Availability (GA).

Alpha Stage:

During the Alpha stage, AgentWP is in its earliest form of testing. This phase is typically limited to internal teams and a small group of invited external testers. Alpha versions may be unstable and are used to identify major issues and shape core functionalities. Features in Alpha are subject to significant changes based on tester feedback and performance data.

Beta Stage:

The Beta stage represents a more polished version of AgentWP. Beta testing is open to a wider audience, often including early adopters and enthusiasts. While more stable than Alpha, Beta versions may still contain bugs and are not recommended for critical production environments. During this stage, users can expect frequent updates and are encouraged to provide feedback to help refine the product.

We are currently in the Beta stage.

General Availability (GA):

GA marks the official public release of AgentWP. At this stage, the product is considered stable and ready for widespread use, including in production environments. GA versions have undergone thorough testing and refinement based on feedback from Alpha and Beta stages. While updates and improvements continue after GA, they are typically less frequent and focus on enhancement rather than major changes.

It's important to note that even after reaching GA, AgentWP may introduce new features through Alpha and Beta channels. This allows for continuous innovation while maintaining stability for GA users. Users can often opt-in to test new features, providing valuable feedback as AgentWP evolves.

By understanding these stages, users can make informed decisions about when and how to implement AgentWP in their WordPress environments, balancing access to new features with the need for stability and reliability.
